RECOMMENDED PRE – REQUISITES
- CSEC Additional Mathematics is a pre-requisite for entrance into CAPE Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics and Physics.
- CSEC Principles of Accounts is a pre-requisite for entrance into CAPE Management of Business and Accounting.
- CSEC Principles of Business is a pre-requisite for entrance into CAPE Economics. In its absence, a student’s grade in Mathematics and English A, will be given consideration.
- CSEC Geography and one natural science subject are pre-requisites for CAPE Environmental Science.
- CSEC Chemistry, Physics and Biology are pre-requisites for studies in Engineering and the Medical field (Biomedical Technology: Medicine).
- CSEC Chemistry, Mathematics and English are pre-requisites for studies in Process Plant Operations: Chemical Engineering.
- Students interested in pursuing a career in Engineering or Architecture are advised to consider CSEC Technical Drawing.
- Students interested in Computer Studies at CAPE are advised to do CSEC Add Mathematics and Physics.
