Secondary Schools’ Drama Festival Awards 2022

REPORT ON THE SECONDARY SCHOOLS’ DRAMA FESTIVAL AWARDS CEREMONY

 

The ceremony was held on Tuesday 17th January 2023 at 10 am at the Auditorium of the Bishops’ Anstey and Trinity East College. Mrs. Colleen Norville-Hutton and Ms. Letitia Mike accompanied the students to the event. Naparima College’s entry of The “Men-tality” received several awards for outstanding performance in various areas which are listed below:

  1. Most outstanding Actor – Dylan Ablack ( as Kenan Bradley)
  2. Best Supporting Actor – Kaveesh Sylvan (as Daniel Bradley)
  3. Certificate for Most Promising Actor – Jhasan Dhaniram (as Deborah Bradley)
  4. Best Costume Design
  5. Best Lighting
  6. Best Set Design
  7. Best Ensemble
  8. Certificate of Participation

The Mentality was written by Dylan Ablack and Kaveesh Sylan, directed by Mrs. Jeanelle Archer-Chan. Mrs. Colleen Norville-Hutton was the Costume Manager and Ms. Letitia Mike was the assistant director and Make-up Manager.
